Innovation Yard

The Innovation Yard at Eden Campus is a flexible, low-carbon workspace designed to support SMEs and start-ups developing sustainable technologies. With support from Scottish Enterprise, the former chipping yard is being transformed into a modular hub featuring shipping container units tailored for experimentation, collaboration, and rapid growth. This adaptable environment is ideal for early-stage ventures working on clean energy, circular economy, and climate-focused solutions. As part of the wider Eden Campus ecosystem, the Innovation Yard connects directly to renewable energy infrastructure, world-class research, and entrepreneurial support through St Andrews Innovation and the University’s Entrepreneurship Centre — creating a launchpad for scalable, impactful innovation.
